A Lois & Clark Sonnet

By Jennifer James (texjames@ix.netcom.com)

Summary: A short poem that tells of Lois and Clark's romance.

***

The best T.V. show is on ABC,
It features a hero called Superman.
On Sundays it's my favorite thing to see,
When I'm not home I tape it if I can.
In unrequited love did Clark tarry,
Until Lois revealed her feelings.
At long last the two lovers did marry,
And the speed sent the viewer's minds reeling!
Though villains were many, their love shone through,
And through two false weddings did they persist,
There was even a clone dressed in blue!
But in the end at the altar they kissed.
Together for love they will have to work,
Until they have ironed out all the quirks.
