Summary: Clark plans a romantic evening at home.
The Daily Planet:
Lois is at her desk writing a story when she reaches over to take a drink from her soda can. Clark looks over and notices it. <God she is beautiful! Everything she does takes my breath away! Even drinking. Even after almost 8 months of marriage and about a year and a half of dating before that, her touch still sends shivers down my spine. I can't help but want to touch her.>
Lois feels someone watching her and then realizes it is Clark. She starts walking to the fax machine, swaying her hips just to make Clark crazy.
<Oh god!> Clark thinks to himself as he watches her. Clark walks over to where Lois is and slowly puts his arms around her. "Hey," he says.
"Hello handsome," she replies.
"You look unbelievably gorgeous today. I suddenly had an urge to touch you and I couldn't ignore it any longer," he says while kissing her neck.
Lois slightly blushes. But she loves knowing how easily she excites him. She turns around and they kiss, very passionately.
<God I love the feel of her body tightly against mine. Her smell drives me crazy!>
<I could never get enough of the taste of him. His taste is addicting> Lois thinks to herself.
"I have a surprise for you when we get home," he says in between kisses.
"What kind of surprise?"
"You will just have to wait and see."
At their home:
Lois walks in and it smells wonderful. She walks into the dining room and the table has candles and is set very romantically. Clark comes out with a towel over his shirt and brings out some food.
"Wow, what is this for?" she asks.
"Because I love you," he answers. "Before we eat though I'm going to change."
He comes back out about 5 seconds later in a tuxedo.
"I think I'm under-dressed." she says.
"You look beautiful no matter what you wear."
"Well I'm going to change just so I don't feel so out of place."
She comes back out 15-20 minutes later wearing a long purple evening gown.
<Oh god! I'm not going to be able to get through the night with her looking that good!>
"You look gorgeous," he says. "Ready to eat?"
He pulls out her chair, then sits down in his chair. He pours the champagne. Then a chef comes out with the main course after they have their appetizer.
"Wow! You went through a lot."
"Anything for you," he replies.
"I love you, Clark."
"I love you, Lois."
Then he leans over and gently kisses her lips.
Then a violinist comes out and starts playing a really romantic song but Lois nor Clark recognize it.
Tears started forming in Lois' eyes. "You are great Clark. I never thought I would meet someone like you." Then a tear falls down her cheek.
"I hope those are happy tears," he says.
"They are tears of love and happiness."
"I love making you happy. Would you like to dance, Mrs. Kent?"
"I would love to," she answers.
He stands up and reaches out his hand as Lois grabs it. He pulls her as close as possible to him. <I love the feel of our hips moving together in rhythm.>
"Thank you again for all of this. You are great."
"You're welcome. But don't be thanking me. I wouldn't be doing this if you never came into my life," he answers.
"Oh Clark." Tears start forming again.
"Dinner's ready!" the chef says.
Lois and Clark sit down to eat. They talk about old times, good and bad. After dinner Clark thanks and pays the chef and violinist.
That night they snuggled together and watched Bridges of Madison County on the couch. Lois cried at the part when Robert had to leave when Francesca's family was coming home. It reminded her of the time when Clark left to go to New Krypton to save his people.
After the movie they started kissing and made passionate love on the couch. Then fell asleep. The sun woke Clark. He looked down at Lois, the sun hitting her hair and making it shine. <I can't believe this beautiful woman next to me is my wife! I am the luckiest man alive!> Clark gently touches her face, not wanting to wake her up. Even though he didn't want to wake her, he had to touch and kiss her. He started kissing her forehead, nose, cheeks, lips, and neck.
"Mmm. Now that's a lot better than an alarm clock," she says.
Clark grins, still kissing her. "Did you sleep well, Beautiful?"
Yes, because you were holding me while I slept," she answers.
"I love the way you look in the morning. With your still tired face and your hair kind of messed up. You look great."
"Mmm. Thank you. You look good too."
The phone rings. "Just ignore it. Let the machine get it," Clark says.
They start kissing and again they made beautiful love.
