Summary: Several song titles give inspiration to this delightful vignette where a movie prompts a discussion about love.

For some reason, since I bought Christina Aguilera's debut album, 'Christina Aguilera', I've had the crazy idea of trying to combine all the track titles in a story. When I started writing fics. I found in what kind of story I could do it!

You can find the tracklist in the end of the story.

The title is the English translation of 'Por Siempre T£', the title used in the Spanish version of 'I Turn To You'.

Disclaimer: The rights of Lois, Clark, and the songs' titles go to whoever has them. The rest is mine.

Thankies: To Laura U. for her Beta-Reading and to everyone who read and enjoyed it.

So, here it goes:

"Silly movie," Lois commented, leaving the theater.

"Silly?" Clark asked, surprised. "Why? I thought it was cute. It was so emotional."

"That's exactly why," she explained, walking slowly. "It's all crap. The guy loves the girl, but the girl loves somebody else, and this somebody is in love with somebody else, and this somebody's somebody. Whew!" She sighed in disgust. "I was so glad when it ended."

"That was the point, Lois," he tried to explain. "That love will find a way, no matter what."

"Yeah, sure," she replied sarcastically. "What do you think love is, Clark? A genie in a bottle that will solve all of your problems?"

"Love is a miracle, Lois. It makes you feel like you're blessed."

"You should know," she mocked him.

"Don't make fun of me, Lois," Clark rolled his eyes. "Love is wonderful; it's a dream coming true. You're in love with someone, and somehow she's all you can think about. You look in the mirror, and instead of your reflection, you see her. When you put your hands on me."

"Who, me?" Lois cut him off.

Clark blushed, realizing what he had just said. "Not. you," he managed. "You know. generally speaking."

"Oh." She didn't persist. "So, what happens then?"

"It's. it feels. amazing." After his slip, he wanted to be cautious with whatever he said.

"Oh, I think I know what you mean," she said in irony. "It's like it's spring, and you're in a green field with the girl you love. Isn't it?"

"Not necessarily," he replied, his voice unwavering. "It shouldn't be a spring love, but a love for all seasons. It could also be winter, snow falling from the sky, and you. I mean, not you, you know. are home, with the woman. man. anyway, you love, and you're drinking hot chocolate, sitting in front of the fireplace."

Lois burst out laughing.

"What?" he asked as he stopped walking.

"What you want is exactly what a girl wants," she replied as she began walking again. "Romantic moments and stuff. I don't think I know any guys who think like that."

"It's not what a girl wants," he smiled. "It's not what *you* want."

"I'm not your average female," she teased him.

"Yeah, I think that's obvious," he playfully said.

"Seriously, Clark. Who needs love?"

"Lois, you can't say that."

"Oh, I can. I don't need anyone to love. I don't *want* someone to love. All I want is you. My partner and best friend. We always have a great time together. You help me and I help you. I turn to you for everything I need, and so do you. What else do we need?"

"Nothing, I guess." He bent his head, wishing she could see the irony of what she was saying.

"See? We're all right just on our own. You and me."

'Yes, we are, Lois,' he thought. 'We're perfectly fine, just you and me. You're all I need, and I'm all you need. But I don't think you're seeing it the way I see it.'

"Why aren't you saying anything?" she asked.

"I don't have anything to say, Lois," he said, hiding a smile. "You're right. You're always right."

For an instant, she wondered if he was implying something, but their walk was over. They were now outside her apartment building.

"Well, goodnight," he said.

"Goodnight, Clark," she said too, kissing his cheek. "I'll see you tomorrow."

Clark stared at her until she disappeared inside the building. Then, with a sigh, he headed home.
