Lois Learns to Fly By Lara E. Taylor Rated G Submitted March 11, 1998 Summary: A romantic poem about a wonderous love. *** As his shadow flickered across the moon I knew I was born to fly with him Up into the heavens and far beyond Anywhere my dreams have taken me. Then one night he appeared beside me and His eyes expressed an invitation That I never felt the urge to deny And my smile must have told the whole world. We flew through the clouds to the closest star And we claimed it in the name of a Love more powerful than the brightest sun And more eternal than a galaxy. When he told me that our love was stronger Than all of the powers that he possessed My soaring heart knew that he was the dream I had waited for all of my life. Everytime I look into his eyes I know I was born to fly with him Up into the heavens and beyond Anywhere my dreams have taken me. THE END
